Maaan... I feel like I've been living in a cave for the last couple of months! Shocked Figured I'd take the opportunity to poke my head out and say "hey" so y'all don't forget about me...

Hey! :D

... and also to share a few samples of what's been consuming my time for the last several weeks! I wasn't expecting to be able to participate in this set (due to previous commitments), but I kinda signed on in the eleventh hour towards the end of the first "wave". Soo... I didn't have much time to provide (what I thought would be) only 50 cards for this set. But before I continue, here's a small sampling of what those cards look like (there are 38 cards (1 of 1 unique images) rendered in this format):

Once those were sent back and approved, there was a request for more cards and I (must've been on crack) and committed to an additional 100... followed by another 25. I really wasn't overly happy with my initial effort from the first wave, so I attempted to take "wave two" up a notch. There are 92 cards (1 of 1 unique images) rendered in this format:

I'm actually pretty happy with the following six cards for a number of reasons, but mainly because these are six of my personal favorites. Wink I rarely (if ever) do any types of "scenes" with any of my sketch cards, let alone add some color here-n-there. A few of these took upwards of 3 hours to complete (but maybe I'm just slow... Wink ... or petrified that I'm gonna screw up! Shocked ). However, these are absolutely NOT my "SixBack" and these will all be pack inserted:

Another look at Peter so y'all don't have to struggle to see him (this is the only horizontal / landscape card I did for the set):

Finally, I threw in some "repeat-a-sketch" cards (I know, I know... "BOOO!" Evil or Very Mad ) with a twist. There are 3 different sets of 13 cards each, all using the same 13 images of 13 different characters:

*whew* Okay - I think that's about it (for now Twisted Evil ). My total for this set went from 50 to 175, not including my returned cards (which I'll post later on).

(I will add that I never watched the show when Season One originally aired. After watching the first ep of Season Two, I went out and bought the first season on DVD and am now seriously hooked!!) :P

More to come - stay tuned!! Wink

Oh MY!! SP has been Soooo busy whilst on pass from the Asylum!

The Lovers under the Red Umbrella is my absolutely favorite sketch. But All these Portraits are Astonishing!! Shocked

And I like the variant backgrounds on the repeat-a-sketches....They'd make a great pair or trio in a collection!

Autopsy Claire is ewwww...in an excellent way. Wink

Smile Fantastic work on all of them Sean. In particular I think the card of Nikki and Jessica works really well, especially with the mirror effect.

Wow! Those are awesome! And you say your returned 6 (or would that be 9 or 12 with the addinional waves?) arent among them? Again, wow! I've never pulled one of your cards yet but this set would be the one to do it. I especially love those red bordered cards, they really stand out. Shocked

AWESOME! Sean's doing Heroes cards! I had no idea. Sean, I can't believe that you weren't happy with the first batch. They look great! I guess that outlook of yours is what makes you keep doing such phenomenal work (that and a boatload of talent!). I'm really looking forward to Heroes cards, but I'm glad Topps is holding off releasing it to see if they can get more signers (like hopefully Hayden and Ali) and making sure they have enough sketch cards. I also think it's great to hear how many of the artists didn't watch the show and then got hooked on it after doing the sketch cards.
